I figured it wasn't the issue from moparman's earlier post, but I want to know now just for knowing's sake.

 

IBMobile, thank you for that guide. I have ascertained that the VP44 is the issue. I hot-wired it and it's still a no-go.

 

I had a hell of a time finding which pins were what as it was dark out, and am posting a picture of the pin out since I could find no other reference on the internet with this exact picture. I also spent time in compromising positions to get it, so I damn well better share it.

 

Pin 6 is battery ground, Pin 7 is hot for all of the future mes out there.
