Hey gang,I have a quick question about the 1st gen water pumps. I had a guy today tell me that some the 1st gens had a funky (for lack of a better term) water pump where it had a bunch of bolts that you had to remove and it was a real pain? Something like the inlet was way at the bottom of the engine or something... Is that true or was he just confused?:shrug:I always thought all Cummins just had the simple 2 bolt water pump?:shrug:Thanks,Winslow

If I remember correctly, it was a few years ago that I had a 93, but I think there was 6 bolts that held it on. Might double check, I might be tuinking of one of my gas rigs?

Well what I've been told is it was just 2 bolts on the CTD... I don't know for sure, wish I had a 1st gen to see!:lmao:
