High Beam& Low Beam

Recommended Posts

I have the violet with white stripe connected to the light green (actually yellowish-green). Both High & low beams light up but when I release the lever (after changing to high beam) there is an overall dimming negating any advantage of the double connection. Can't figure what's up - it used to work ok. (This on a late 02)

Thanks - you mean like for corrosion? And would you please translate "MOD". I did find a green with tan stripe which someone suggested might be the correct ground. And there is also a plain light green besides the yellowish one.

When headlight fuses blow they tend to dim out...

Like you said there is a jumper wire in there for the HI/LO beam...

Most grounds in a Dodge are black... (Normally!)

Thanks great piece of wisdom, I did not know that. Wiring issues are my least favorite kind of repair. Give me some worn our part to change, PM project or HP mod. Instant gradification nation, in some things I guess I buy into it! LOL
