This is on the old side but in North Idaho there is a fairly active diesel commnity. A lot of people belong to the NWBombers. Diesel Thunder is held on Spokane every August and in the spring there is a big FREE dyno event in Clarkston Washington which is just across the river from Lewiston Id. Until last year there was a big campout held at our river lot that was very well attended.
