Hope I am not missing something, but on 9-15 I will celebrate 40 years of wedded bliss and feel for the gentleman.

Just funny how they portrayed the relationship between men and women, women are always about the emotions and feelings and men are always literal and obvious. I think every man on earth who has been with a woman for more than a week has been in a situation like this.I myself have been in this spot many times be it with girls friends I had before meeting my wife and definitely with my wife who come December will be my wife of 15 years and together for 20. We dated for 2.5 years and were engaged for another 2.5 years before the "I do". One can't rush into these things, someone once told us our dating and engagement duration alone was longer than most modern marriages last.

I am on the opposite end as you. My wife and I met and got married 4 months later. Both of us young and immature. We have been thru many good times and our share of bad times. I have had many episodes as you posted above, but it just comes with the territory. Being married aint always easy and some folks dont make it. We still struggle at times, but if the good Lord's willing and we keep at it we will make to the end of the journey.
