This is Good Friday and for me it always means that I shut out the world and go one-on-one with my Creator for 3 hours.  The cattle gate is locked and I emerge myself in total solitude and prayer with complete silence.  I pray for all of you, the needs of the world and for peace.  Please turn your thoughts to Him for some prayer today.  Do not abondon Him. Nice post Mopar mom! We are having our eighth Sunday service this Easter Sunday and we anticipate over 100 people. This is a time of joy for Christians. Thank you for starting this thread.

Have you guys ever looked into what makes up the current easter day celebration? Its appalling how it has come to be, even on the days that it is on.

 

I support the idea of recognition of our Lords doings during the time, but everything else associated with it, I cringe!
