what to do with old injectors?

Recommended Posts

I don't know their history... I don't know with ant certainty what they are other than Bosch bodies and 7 hole non sac style nozzles. They probably need pop tested and tuned.

Are they worth selling or should I just send them in for a core charge?

1.  If you are in the market for injectors you could have them cleaned, with new nozzles of your choosing put on them for a reasonable price.

2.  Core for new ones.

3.  Sell to someone else for core.

This is a useless post on my behalf or for your benefit, but I am really bored right now.

I know the last extra set of injectors I turned into usable ones cost me more than if I would have sent them in as cores and just bought a set of already setup injectors. Good tips $200 and then having them set at 310 bar was $56 each so total cost was $560. Good set of 100hp injectors $400.

If you want to sell them let me know.

The last set I had done,  (whats in my truck now) was done by DAP.  They treated me right, only charging for the nozzle and the cleaning/pop test, no extra charge for the nozzle install since they were tearing them down for cleaning anyway.  Made their job easier I would assume.  I am under $300 IIRC.
