Would someone mine giving me a hand with a support project. I would like to be able to get a person on the phone and help me with email setups on the site. The site software is suppose to be capable of receiving emails and placing them into the support database. I need to get this function set up so would some mine giving me a hand some time? Hey Gang, I've got a setting here on the forum. This setting is a archive function for the forum. So what happens is the threads and post after a set period of time will be moved to a different database table for storage. This does not delete the posts or threads. But what it does is separate old threads from the active database table which improves the response time of the MySQL server looking through the index being its now much shorter. Also when reading a archived thread or post you'll notice there is no post functions and even for the staff there is no editing or anything. Ok Gang. I've found a wonderful plugin that allows me to continue the member maintenance like we had in the past with vBulletin 4 but this plugin "Manage Inactive Members" all done on schedule. Since the new site came up I can't get any pics into thread posts when I use the insert pic option. I just tried again, I copied the url for a pic from the cracked block thread and try to insert it into a post when I hit the insert pic icon and then paste the url in it and hit ok it just locks up and does nothing, if I try and close out of it another box pops up saying things have changed and I have to use the windows backup arrow to get out of the window. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm sure a few of you noticed the site lagging a bit. Slow to respond. Etc. Well I've had a nice long chat with the hosting provider and going to try moving the database to a new server see if the server is just bottled necked or what. If that doesn't work out they suggested I move over to their new hosting plan which is all new servers and hosting layout. The current hosting plan is no longer sold so we are sitting on a obsolete server but they currently have no way to migrate to the new servers or hosting. Ok Gang... New software and new rules being created. So I'm working at getting everything layout for new security profiles from everyone. Forgive me for leave the site a bit of a mess I'm sure that all members can still post and read but the Gov't and Religious forums are going to be visible but dead (for some). What is going to happen is those 2 forum will be visible to all registered members but can't access. Ok this is something fun for all you to work at with me. I want to build a rank title system up here. But I want to get all the input from all you on different titles. Kind of like someone that registers up and has no post would be a "New Family Member" or maybe a "Cummins Newbie" then after say 20 post then switches to "Part changer", etc. So lets here the different rank idea. Help me out gang... Lets have some fun with this and make all kind of ranks that span way up in post numbers. Where I seen a good example of this is over at Ubuntu forum they did it on the different flavors of coffee and espresso. So I want to do it on different ranks or titles of mechanics.

Well I'm not sure how to take this. As far as visitors we are down from 1,100 a day to about 325 or so a day. As far as page views we sunk as low as 1,600 page views now climbing back up to 3,200 page views a day. Amazing part is the average time on the site was about 3 minutes a visit now shot up to about 12-14 minutes per visit. Bounce rate is how many just drop in and leave the next click. Before we where high at 69-71% where click in and leaving on the next click now we are drop to 21-30% so more are clicking in and staying.
