Sorry gang I've been up and down most of the week. I had to deal with a registry error on my computer that controls installing/uninstalling software and so far I think I'm on the way out of my mess.

I need somebody to tell me if you can still get a 3.5 gal flush toilet, new. I have built a new house and I have to push solids about 50'. These cheap home depot toilets dont use 1.5 gal and I feel it is not enough water to push that far. This is the second time I have had to rent a snake.

I was tight for an appointment. I always start whatever vehicle & let it idle while I set up GPS & fasten seatbelts... The Cirus just shut off. Refused to restart although it turned over fine. I grabbed my stuff, GPS, fired the CTD up & away I go. I was ON IT to make up time, so I'm sure I screwed up mpg. I hit WOT a few times & the low restriction exhaust definately is louder. I made it on time. I "old lady" drove the CTD on the way back to earn back some mpgs... I tried restarting the Cirus. It seemed like it wanted to start but really wasn't firing at all. About the third try, I got one cylinder to kick in & ran the rest of them into oper…

Is it just me or does it seem like the whole world has gone crazy? Its like morals have just flown out the window. Some of the things I have been seeing on the television and reading in the newspaper lately just make me wonder what has happened to the world I knew?

I’ve just been informed that I’m going to help manage this site. My son never discussed salaries with me but as always he assumes I’ll do it for nothing. So here I am. I’ve always supported this site. Who do think pays the phone bill? What he wants me to do try to connect all the families together.I intend to take the banners and products associated with them so we have our own shopping mall so to speak. As businesses fold out there we still have the talents and the products produced by the members and we need to utilize them. We may not have a store front but we can put them on the web site and everyone can see the products and services are available… I'm going to try to…

I had the day off today with my son and we were bored so we decided to try our hands at making a jack-o-lantern. I found some ideas online and free handed it onto the pumpkin with a sharpe marker. Then we gutted it, carved it, and removed the residual sharpe with some of my wifes nail polish remover. I don't think it came out too bad.

Had a guy come to me after seeing my cummins telling me how his 1st gen hit 330k miles and all this and then he says something about the fuel system wearing out and making noises and I knew the rotary pumps were lubed by fuel and suggested 2 stroke. He immediately gives me weird looks and all that so I tell him that his pump is wearing out from this ULSD cause I knew he had put atleast 100k miles of ULSD driving on it. He says ohhh no that cant be it, I use Lucas. Then tries to tell me how dumb I am for using 2 stroke. I pretty much walked away leaving it at "my truck has 315k now and fuel system dont make a peep." Just tells you how much the labels brainwash people.…

I purchased a 2009 Ford Focus for my wife after she decided she just had to have the car. I was reluctant and tried to change her mind but she finally got it. Needless to say she was very happy with the car up until it started accelerate on its own. No joke you would be driving down the road in gear (5 spd) and the car would start to accelerate. At first I thought maybe it was in her head as the few times I drove the car it didn't seem to do it. One day I let her take my truck and I drove the car, sure enough it was seemingly surging. Driving down the road at 40mph it surged on me and I took my foot completely off the accelerator yet the car still continued to accel…

So I have complained about my work in the past and really it is a hard job. Not only because I do a lot of physical labor when the budget drops but because of the type of work I do. I am working at college and I work in a nursing home. A lot of the people I have you can write off as annoying, horrible drug addicts. All they do is complain and want pain medication, these people mind you are only in their 40's-50's. However there is still a large population of elderly there. I wonder why this is, we get a new president and all the sudden I go from taking care of the elderly to getting drug addicts on Medicaid??? Either way it can be an interesting job. I took care of…

I'd like to identify an alternator... it's retrofitted to a Detroit diesel... actually in a 1950's narrow guage switcher locomotive. Undoubtably the original charging system was a generator. The alternator has the numbers RAY213-4011-SW. It has a built in Regulator. Thanks for any help. Russell

I went out to gas up Cirrus... No shift either F or R. I shut it off & restarted. After a few minutes, I got shift. Low ATF on stick. Drove to town, added ATF a little at a time... took nearly a quart! WTF?? I don't trust it now. I was gonna go visit my brother for the weekend... I still am but CTD is going. I don't see any leaks or drips on the ground... always a chance of blown cooler in radiator. I see a trip to local tranny shop in my future.Russ

Solar energy is increasingly getting the world attention. The energy from sun is sufficient to address many of our problems and concerns regarding the rising energy bills. The solar power is available in even remote areas, where there is no other supply of alternate energy. The sun’s energy is so high that the amount of energy reaching the earth in one year is enough to satisfy the world energy demands for a year. Solar energy has been in use for a long time. Earlier it was used for heating purposes, now it is in use for conversion into electricity. The solar energy is used in various applications like battery chargers, hand-held calculators and solar powered garden lig…
