I have an 04.5 ram with this exh. in place....CAT back [for now at least] all 4'' piping w/ 24'' flo-pro strait through muffler & pipe exits at back, right side.   At 1800 to 2300 rpms, at med+ throttle i have drone! At idle, the exh. has a full, throaty sound, plenty noise for me. expecily when backed up to a building where sound bounces off.

The under hood noise is much better then 2nd gen, but exh. [while diff.] is still THERE if wanted to be!  :)

Tell me what works for you!   i have thought about adding the 2nd muffler or adding a 'twister' .

I dont know how much the CAT helps [if at all]  the CAT could be replaced w/ a twister.......

I'M ALL EYES!!!!!   YOU, HAVE A GREAT DAY!  :thumb1:

Update! I have since changed out the 17'' FTE res. for a 30'' FTE res.

I'm real happy with the set up now. Drone is practicaly gone now, and my Tater-turbo's whistle shines through REAL nice!!
