Im going to replace my 7mm nozzle gaskets ( 1.5mm) in my 01 Dodge Cummins, because i think one of them is leaking causing my rough idle at first intial start up. I have a question on the installation parts. Some people are telling me I should also replace 6 banjo connector gaskets ans 6 square cut o-rings. What are these two other ones? Do they mean the square cut o-rings are the connector o-rings? The banjo connectors I have no clue what they are, maybe one of you know what they are.

You can see the o-ring on the connector tube which is really standard... There is a o-ring on the injectors then the copper seal and the tip of the injector...

My rough idling in the mornings has to be one of the injectors leaking, Im guessing. :rolleyes:Soo, I would think it would be the copper gasket that is leaking. Or could it be the rubber o-ring around the injector?? Like I said, it smokes alittle and idles rough in the morning, then clears up.

Air in the fuel? Bad O rings? My problem is just the shear age of the injectors since the previous owner admit to putting on over 400K miles on them...
