from what I understand it will work with anything that has an OBDII port, which your '04.5 will have, so yes it should work.

WORKS ON ALL EXCEPT: 2004.5 through 2005 Dodge Diesel Trucks. Jeep Liberty with the diesel engine does not report fuel use or trip functions and some of the gauges. Unless the recall ECU software update has been completed.

That really sucks that is doesn't work for just a half a year.... 4.5 - 5.0?? GEEZ.... ` But what is this about UNLESS the software was updated?? Could this be a loophole that could be upgraded so it could run on Joe's truck??? :thumbsup Maiden
