Wiper motor park switch internally is wearing out. Mine is doing a little bit too. The only thing that could be done is replace the wiper motor.

Might have just got the answer to my to my question. Although maybe my problem is slightly different. My wipers decided one day not reset in full down position about 6 inches up.To when they turn on, they go down and then full stroke all modes work. Any ideas ? Wiper motor 1 yr old.

When running wiper delay you might find the timing of the ON pulse from the CTM might be long enough to keep it going while travelling through the park mode. Normal slow or fast mode works fine when you turn it off. It might just be lag of the blade or the timer holding power just a wee bit too long.
