I found a 1500 nv3500 truck, which could be used for a 47re to manual swap, just the interior pieces and hopefully cross member. Are the frames the same on 2nd gens 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton? If I could grab this truck and then just find an nv4500, I think i could be in business. All the people around me want $3500 for a complete swap kit with a used, stock tranny and rusty parts.

 

Use the part number lookup tool to verify that the parts you are looking at are the same between the 1500 and 2500/3500

 

Frame is on page 261, looks like there is no difference in the series of the truck 1500/2500/3500 rather the differences are in the length and cab config.
