I have a Bullydog propane kit I'm going to install on my 01 Dodge. The It is an older kit and the tank is out of date. Can I just use a tank from a barbecue or maybe a forklift tank or is there something else I would need? I'll take any good advice that you want to share, Thanks, Donald

I don't see any reason why you couldn't use another propane bottle as long as the threads are the same in the valve (left hand). I'm curious of your results to using the propane setup...

Typically there is a MPG gain to it but now calculate in the propane your using and see if the MPGs are rising or not... But of course thats after you install the propane setup...
