Hey there guys new to the site seeking some help. So truck runs and drives but will randomly die or stumble and pick back up it has a brand new air dog lift pump in it and the VP44 is a year old when it does sometimes shuts off or resets the radio, bad ECM? This is on a 98.5

    The radio shutting off and/or resetting sounds like an interesting clue...   Losing power somewhere for some reason. 

  • To be honest I dont know. Theres a block with I think 3 bolted on them. I'd assume positive.    My truck would die driving down the rd. Coast to a stop then start back up like nothing happen

I’m not sure where or what to look for or at I’ve made sure the injection does not have air in it, I tried to make a little jumper to bypass the fuel system relay and it popped a fuse and when I did make the right connection the truck still died but when I jump two particular ports on that relay I can hear the injection pump make clicking type sounds idk if that means the pump is bad or the brain on the pump is bad any of y’all have any more input
