I recently bought a Quadzilla Adrenaline 4k v2 programmer and am having some tuning issues I cant seem to figure out. I only use the truck for sled pulling and do not drive it on the road. The main issue I'm having is at the end of the pull it will stay revved up after i let off the pedal for a short time and then come down to an idle. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

how long does it stay revved up?  the 4k boxes do that as the ecm is freaking out and not sending data updates for what TPS is at etc.

I would say 7 or 8 sec or so give or take. I'm new to tuning myself and wasnt sure if I have something set wrong or what not. I've messed with just about every setting on here lol.

This is the last tune I have ran.

First thing I see is your timing is really low

try

2000RPM: 19°

2500RPM: 25°

3000RPM: 29°

3500RPM: 32°

Turn stretch down to 5000 and try again

Ok sounds good, i had a feeling timing was on the low side!.

I will give it a try tomorrow evening and let you know how I make out! Thanks for the help!

The quadzilla will only allow me to go to 30° not 32°

Meh same difference, the mechanical limit of the pump is somewhere aorund 30* any ways.

IF it still hang revs drop wiretap more, you have big injectors you dont need to max out stretch

I was going over my data log from Friday's run. On the wire tap % I'm at 90%. Is there a reason why I'm only getting 90% and not 100%?

Are you at %100 throttle?  How about boost?  Rpms?

Many things play into how much wiretap.  As you noticed too much wiretap can cause issues.

Are you unhappy with somethinng other than seeing %90 rather than %100?  Just because you are only running 90% doesnt really mean you are lacking anything.

One could say since you are only using 5000 for fuel stretch you are only using %75 wiretap.....

I'm at 100% throttle,51psi boost and 3800rpm.

I am not unhappy with it, I was just courious as to the 90% was all lol

If I remember hte wiretap map you don't get %100 above ~3000 rpm.  if you wanted to see %100 you would need to be over 50 psi at ~2200 rpm.
