Put marble mosaic up around the tub today. Left a 1/8” gap between the bottom row and the top of the tub. What goes in that gap? Grout or silicone caulk?

I am not a professional but if I was doing this I would put caulking in there for more water-proofing.  I'd be afraid of water seeping through the grout and tub seam.  I'd think caulking would seal better there.  Like I said though, I'm no professional so use that info at your own risk...

Caulk it. Lowes very well may a color matched caulk for that purpose both in sanded and non sanded depending on what you used. Sillicone works well too but color choice is much more limited.
