I agree with @Mopar1973Man, they are worth every penny!   Being able to see the sides of the road clearly is amazing (and thats with the low beams) and it makes driving at night enjoyable.

Told ya...    Just made a fire call for the first time last night and tickled the HIDs were in my Cummins. I was able to see deer along the road side very easily. Still gotta adjust the head

Did you have to buy load resistors?

Nice! You still using stock housings? If I get these, I have aftermarket housings. I don't have the stock twist lock rings no more. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

These are what mine look like.... I ordered them off of Ebay. Company called speed daddy15820458210172097905967897543354.jpg.01d1578a230a9fe6d82826bfeaaae8f5.jpg

These are what I bought

Wonder if my aftermarket rings would work with those LEDs. ???

Are those sport headlights? It looks like you have a bulb in the left side but nothing in the other hole.

No, single bulb application, just like my old headlights. Oh, almost forgot, I was able to swap the wires and get my high/lows to work right!???

If you look closely,  you'll see it's just the reflection of the bulb.

I guess l am missing something in the picture then. I see what appears to be an LED on the left and hole in the middle.

Happy you got wires straightened though.

If you look closely, on the right, you can just barely see the bulb behind that center peice. What you see on the left is just the reflection of it. There's just ALOT of reflection going on in there. Lol. ???????

I got it now. The end of the cap looks like a hole. Thats what was throwing me off. I do agree that there is a lot reflecting going on in there.

What brand are your housings, just curious.

To be honest with you I dont remeber. I bought them on amazon and looked at so darn many of them I lost track of any brand. I just bought some that had a reflector I thought would work. I got cheap ones just in case they did not work. Mine dont have reflectors in the turn signal and they need them. They are DOT and SAE compliant so we will see what safety inspection folks say here pretty soon.

I did see many housings that only had reflectors in the back. My bulbs are COB LED's and some reading I did later said the CREE LED's were better for head lights. Going to get set one day and see. You would have to google that to see the difference. Thats the only way I could tell you is to re gooogle. My brain did not absorb it all.

Neither were mine. The headlights cases I bought on Amazon but I tried the crappy HID/Halogen bulbs. Those were junk. SilverStar Halogens are junk (860 lumens). As you can see the new bulbs are 4,000 lumens. These are only 9 dollars more than the past set of SilverStar halogens I paid for.

Thanks! Mine just came in. They are a lot brighter than the silver stars. The true test will be tonight.

Still not super happy probably will just buy some from the retro shop. This pick looks better than it actually is. Or maybe the white light burned in my eyes were hindering its appearance! it’s scattered pretty good.?
