Hello There, I'm Back!!! Crazy Life Update!

Oh my goodness, I have been gone for quite awhile! Just thought Id say Hello to all and maybe explain my absence. I don't remember how long ago Its been so Ill just touch on the big things.

I am out of the Army now, still miss it really bad and wish I could go back.

Jan 2023 I was diagnosed with Cancer- although the best kind of cancer. Thyroid Cancer... Went through all the steps and finally got it removed and I have been clear ever since!

May 2023 We lost our 39 week old daughter Brinley, She is in Heaven and Lord I cant wait to see her again!

Aug 2023 I was in a BAD wreck. Got life flighted, almost died 3 times, I bleed out internally took 6 units of plasma and 6 units of blood (your body holds 8 if I'm not mistaken) broke my pelvis in half ( just think massive splits) broke all my ribs, multiple vertebra, had abdominal compartment syndrome, got sepsis due to a missed bowl perforation, they removed liters of puss and lots of other stuff out of me, and also had respiratory failure. Was in a wheelchair for some time, had to learn to walk again -weird feeling. Also suffered alot of head injuries and mental health issues.

Oct 2024 We added another little boy to the family so now were up to 3 kiddos in the house!

I worked for John Deere as a mechanic, was a Police Officer, a Firefighter, prior Military, and now at 36 I am permanently Disabled.

So now I have tons of time on my hands!

I'm back to as good as I'm gonna get, I tinker in the shop, do metal fab when I can, I do a lot of leather work too. I just got another 2nd gen truck that Ill be posting about too.

Happy to be back and look forward to learning more and asking tons of questions!!! 😁

PS: I still HAVE NOT figured out this dang Quadzilla and tuning (years.....) !!!! 🥺🤬😤🤣🤣🤣

Your commander and chief has now survived bladder cancer twice now. I ended up losing my bladder for life and now have an ostomy bag. Titanium is the makeup artistry I started during my cancer that I wasn't supposed to survive. Then during my cancer I met my wife in a medical waiting room twice and we got married 11/25/25.

Then last year May 29 I lost my entire shop to a massive landslide that destroyed the building. Shop no longer. Hard to work on my truck now in the mud of the yard with medical limitations that prevent me from doing as I did years ago.

I got to finish my gallery move for some of the other photos.

My life was permanently altered, and I can no longer go back to the things I enjoyed for so long. The makeup artistry keeps me safe by restricting me from just jumping in to rescue. I have a 40-pound weight limit for the rest of my life, as my L3 and L4 in my back are shot, and then the ostomy bag is a hernia risk for me. Everything I thought I was planning on doing is now forever changed by my cancer. There is a reason my appearance is forever changed, being I got to deal with my ostomy bag, leaks, accidental leaks, etc. My kidneys are damaged, my right kidney is only 17% remaining and my left is 82% remaining. Chemo done its damage to me. I have to be careful of UTI because it could kill me. I can't be in a dirty world and even touch my bag or drain valve. I still deal with phantom bladder, where it feels like I have to go really bad, but there is nothing there. Yea,h so Titanium was my creation to hide my bald head and my sick appearance from the chemo.

Moving forward @Tweety Bird my wife and I are trying to keep the website going with what I've got left. Like today its snowing out in the yard, and since my shop is gone, I'll be waiting till the weather changes and dries up so I can work in the dirt. Oh update there is a weather tower here and you can see the weather in the Mopar1973Man Menu.

Man that sucks, a lot to deal with. They had to take out all of my large intestine and some of my short intestine. I had an ostomy for quite awhile, I know the feeling! I was absolutely miserable with it. Now I have short bowl syndrome which is a pain in the ***, pun intended, with everything hooked back up Sounds like were both in bad shape with completely changed lives lol, I'm here if you ever need to talk or vent 😉

The mudslide is just crazy! I cant imagine losing my shop, much less dealing with the aftermath.

If I was closer I would help out with the dirt work, I'm pretty handy with a dozer and skidsteer.

No kidding, you had a helluva ride yourself. Walking up to The Devil himself, slapping him in the face, and walking off, back to your life. It's really weird for me, because I've got the bag on me, then at night I hook up another 2L bag so I can sleep the entire night. To top it off, I wound up finding out I'm a sleep apnea patient now, too. So mask on the face and tube to my bag and hope like hell you don't pull the tube off the bag. (Yes, I've had several wake-up calls in the middle of the night.)

Yeah its no fun ride, yeah I'm now listed as disabled as well because of my bladder cancer, Chronic Kidney Disease 3a, ostomy bag, L3 & L4 in my back, etc.

Hi Stanley! I am so sorry to hear of your circumstances! 😬 I am also so very sorry regarding the loss of your sweet baby girl!😭 I have had a lot of loss of loved ones, but I never had any children (1st husband passed away from Cardiac Arrest in 2006 so we had too much to deal with his congestive heart failure at age 26, then heart transplant, survived 6.5 years post transplant). I can only imagine what you and your wife had to go through with such a tender loss of an infant baby girl!❤️ I am glad you are still with us, despite all of your trials and near death. 😲 If everybody shared their life experiences, we would find that many people have suffered much tribulation, like ourselves. You have been through so much! We welcome you to post any of your diesel vehicle repairs or modifications, on the website...pics would be nice also! Keep on trucking🛻 along, as you have been! Pun intended!👍🙂

Oh...and, thank you very much for all your service in the Army (my dad served 23 years in the Army)🫶 And...Congratulations on your little baby boy!!🥰

Possibly, tomorrow might be better. I got this late and were cooking dinner then showers etc and all the fun stuff before bed time. Ill make sure to plan it accordingly, can we do around 6pm tomorrow? My listed phone is fine.

Thank you @Tweety Bird for the kind words!
