ok need some honest opinions and any facts that any one has ....im looking for a newer dodge diesel than my 98.5.....i need to know what are some of the new stuff the cummins has ....and what years have what ..i know there are newer turbos with built in exhaust brakes ..vg turbos fast idle already enabled and other good stuff just need to know the years and then i can start adjusting budget...thanks

My vote goes to finding an 06-07.5, with the 5.9 yet.

The vgt's came out in 07.5 with the 6.7. Get one and delete the egr, and dpf and they are supposed to be great trucks.
