Here's my CPUz results... with "turbo mode" on.

I noticed you have the I5, what machine is that in and how do you like it so far?

Its in a Asus G60J laptop, I really like it and it seems to run alot cooler than the core2duo that I had in my last computer.

where would a person look for that on there computer?never seen that before..

http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.56-setup-en.exe Click the big purple "DOWNLOAD NOW" Install it then run it and the first thing you see is what we have been posting by printscreening it. Remember to uncheck the addon toolbars (ask.com) when you install.

To make it fair we should do one of those arithmetic benchmark things. I haven't messed with them in a while though so don't know if any are user friendly for us all.

Funny how this thread is growing... Now is there someone that can catch me? :stuned:

i bet that i5 would make that AMD look like the step child

I managed to push the reference clock to 237 MHz and keep it stable under low loads but soon as I put a load on the processor the temp would take off... Time for a bigger cooling fan... 237 x 13.5 = 3,199 MHz (3.1 GHz) From... 200 x 13.5 = 2700 MHz (2.7 GHz) Just like fat injectors in a Cummins... Now the EGT's are just getting too hot.. Time for a bigger turbo and exhaust...

well i got the little diagram to show up..how do i copy and paste it here?

--- Update to the previous post...

dang nobody is up yet?

I'm up! Uh I am gonna have to figure out how they do it myself. Basically you click on the cpuz window to make it active, then hold down alt while you hit printscreen. Then go to paint and paste it and save it as jpeg. Then put it on here.

This is my Desktop, have many other older computers and laptops lying around too.

2600 Mhz x 4 Cores...

Compared to my wimpy 2700 MHz x 2 Cores...
