I know I have read this before but here goes anyway. My old motor ran around 40 plus on the oil pressure, new motor runs on the edge of the next mark up. A big diff. from before, and I know it could be the sending unit which I can swap out sence I have a new one on my old motor. What would the next mark up be? And where does your gauge run?

I don't think the factory gauges are truly linear. But if I were to guess, I'd guess around 60-65?My OP sender is stuck at ~40-45. I need to replace it, but I can buy an aftermarket gauge set cheaper than the OE sender itself...

I definetly have higher oil pressure than the old motor, I took the sender out of my old motor and put in my new motor and it is on the next line up from 40 :thumb1:The old motor ran on 40 at idle and just a hair over 40 at 2k rpm. now it Idles a hair below the next line up and over when at 2k rpm.
