My cel came on an I have code P0382! What is this code?

are you sure it is 0382 and not 0381? I can't find 0382 in the list of codes but 0381 is there which is glow plug /heater indicator circut (wait to start lamp inoperative ) if this helps any

Grid heater relay has failed or is disconnected... (P0380 or P0382) Double check your wiring to the relay and check the relay make sure it functional. It's mounted on the driver side fender.

I had that 0382 when I changed my air intake horn and forgot to connect the wires back on the heater right away. Just a thought

Ok finally got my truck and trailer unloaded! Popped the hood and one of the lil boots that are on the solenoids was off! Popped it on, cleared codes again!

Sounds like problem solved...
