Turbo Question

I was looking around and found a little soot at the turbo right behind oil line towards the cab there is a flat ring there.Is this a problem?

Hmmm... Exhaust leaks at or before the turbo could spell a loss of performance. After the turbo is too bad but should be still fixed. I would take the time and remove the turbo and look it over careful. While you got it off you might as well clean it thorughly and inspect it completely.
