I have a 2008 Dodge Ram and I replaced the slave cylinder and now it won't start. Is it safe to say that it needs to be bled. What I'm thinking is the air is causing the clutch to not engage and therefore won't start. The slave cylinder was supposed to be pre bled, but I removed the plastic clips and most likely got air. Anyone have a suggestion?

First off you going to have to pull the whole system out. Here is how to bleed it... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/clutch-hyd/clutch-hyd.htm Then leave the plastic tabs back on it when you install it. The pin will tear loose when you first apply the clutch.

I followed the instructions given to me to bleed the system and still wouldn't start. After I tinkered with it a little while I figured out that I didn't have the spring that is located inside the sensor on the master cylinder on correctly. If you need more details let me know.
