put on the ac blows cold but from defrost its stuck up on the defrost any thouths before i start chasing this around i figure its a vacum hose or something not flipping the doors were they need to be but thats why i love this site maybe someone can save me some time and headaches.

Vacuum line is disconnected or broken. Its a safety thing for the defroster vents to be the only thing to operate.

Same thing happend on my cummins. Check all the vac lines. One goes to the driver battery for the cruse. Another to the 4X4 if you have it and one more to the AC. That one will go up to the Vac T and over the motor to the pass side fire wall.

thanks guys for the quick reply guess i knocked a vaccum hose off when i went for the top bolt on the starter all is well now.
