Didn't saddle up

So te300 here. Had to go fly to Arizona so haven't left for Cali yet. When I return to new Mexico on fri june 1st I am going to hitch up a trailer to my new to me dodge and tow my Toyota t 100 home to the emerald triangle.So my question is should I have double a em c o do a filter change on my tranny before I leave?The tranny seems fine but I suspect that it has never been done. This is an aautomatic tranny whatever came stock. Should I have them do a ful on flush or should I just drive it home? I just don't want to create problems. Thanks guys.

A machine flush is not recommended on our automatics. At least a fluid and filter change would be your best option as well a band adjustment. If you don't think it has never been done before then I would try to go on the side of caution. I would recommend getting a tranny temp gauge asap!

Just do a filter and fluid, iirc it's about 7 quarts.
