I have a 2000, with a pacbrake that I added a while back. Trans was just redone, and the VB should allow lockup in second. I want to add a lockup switch for towing and better exhaust braking. Anyone know how to wire this up? The wire you wood normally tap for lockup switch is one that the pacbrake has you cut and splice into their control box. I really want to make this happen, but am unable to get any good wiring instructions.

I have read but not tried this. Tap into the og/bk wire. Wire to a switch. from the other switch terminal install a 33ohm x 1/2 watt resistor and then to ground. Do not modify the relay. This may be what is in the pac brake box. I also would like to hear from a more knowledegable source. Would like a tc lock-up for down hills only.

Please let us know what you findo out. I did the lock up switch recently. Dont have an e brake at the moment but im saving up towards one and id be interested to know if the switch i have is enough or if ill need something else. What did you do to your vb to get it to lock in 2nd? Thanks in advance, im sure you are looking to get answers not receive questions...:duh:
