ok a friend is telling me its probably the orafice thats the problem any thoughts? pressure is good it takes a long time to get cold than it gets cold and sometimes not especially when you really need it i keep checking the pressure and its holding ok :banghead:

Which pressures are you checking?A plugged orifice is usually easy to diagnose, as the low pressure side will be too low relative to the high side. The compressor will not come on and stay on as the low is below the low pressure switch threshold. If you are looking at only the low side what are the pressures and how do they change?GL HTHHag
