Do ya-all think there is an upper limit for our intake air temperature? Why I ask is since putting on the BHAF I have seen temps in the high 160 sitting in traffic with the A/C on. Just thinking..……Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would think that's from no air moving through the intercooler other than what the fan pulls through it which would be the really hot air from the air conditioner radiator thingambob, plus the engine radiator-majigger. Plus there is a water jacket around the intake manifold which heat soaks the air even more. So 160 is perfectly normal I'd say.

Idling doesn't count really... Mine goes through the roof exhaust braking down long grades I can easily reach 160-170*F...What counts is the temperature under boost. Now that number has bearing on timing and fueling tables.

After sitting/stop and go I got moving again. I think the IAT dropped to 157. Too high?I may have dropped more if I drove further but I'm not 100% on that one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
