What do you guys do for fun when not working or driving your diesels? I have a couple hobbies. I drag race a 80 Monte Carlo with a 454 BBC and I offroad a 87 Samurai. I built them both from the ground up. I have built and owned over 20 Samurais in the last 5 years, its a sickness. The Monte runs the quarter in 10.97@ 122 and the Samurai will go where a quad can't. They aren't anything fancy, but the family and I enjoy getting out and exploring the back country. Lets see some pics of your toys and hobbies. Cheers Moparites :)

Dorkweed I live near Sheboygan. Chedder curtain thats a good one. I see enough FISHTAB's coming up this way heading to northern WI.:lmao2: No disrespect that's the way it is especially with the packers-bears rivalary.

Yah hey..........none taken!!!!:thumb1::duh: Don't tell anyone this; but I do root for the Packers if'n the Bears ain't in it!!!!!:duh::banghead:

Olred92 the key switch was changed out before he bought the tractor. The push button start is not used anymore. The switch someone installed is now used for starting also. Deere don't stock them anymore? Dorkweed not really a football fan everyone else around here is. It always interesting, the local oldies station won't play anything by Chicago, the week before the packers play the bears. I like this video though, the fans mean business.:lmao:

Gotta love them nicknames we all have for our neighbors :lmao:

Was visiting a friend in Maine once, we were driving down the freeway and got cut off by someone with Massachusetts liscense plates. "Stupid Massholes" he grumbled. :lmao: Love it

Last I checked they were pretty pricey just because when the new switch is put in it has the newer style key so the old ones arent needed anymore except by those that have a tractor with that key switch

I did a search and came across some on eBay and the pricing I think isn't too bad on there. Deere is ridiculous on pricing, but you get what you pay for. :spend: At work the boss always buys JD parts and if there is ever a problem they don't fuss unless the warrany is done. Just had to replace two batterys on a 4440, cost $320 for them! The warranty on the old ones had expired 5 months ago.

Yea Deere batteries are expensive but I haven't heard many problems out of them on stuff that gets used regularly. When one of these crap ones on my truck goes bad it will be seeing two Deere batteries. I run a lot of Deere parts but I also get my discount lol. I picked up 4 oil filters this month for 8 bucks a piece lol:thumbup2:

I can relate to CSM, I work, read and work. I also read about trucks, guns, planes, National Geographic and more. I do all the work on my diesel, 2004 Dodge Ram.

Is that drag car a Cuda? It looks fast :thumb1:

Yes it is a 'Cuda. With the last setup (smaller engine) it ran high 9's in the 1/4.I am hoping it will go a little faster this year
