Hey fellas, i'm asking for some info on a Smarty off an 03 cummins. I have a buddy that has a smarty for sale from an 03, and a buddy that owns an 04 that's looking for one. Can you take this from truck to truck..are they locked or how do you unlock them ? What's fair price for one? thanks

His truck has to be returned to stock to unlock the Smarty.

This^^^ They are VIN specific until returned to stock. They then can go from truck to truck.Make sure your buddys truck is a '04, and not an '04.5. The difference being the '04's are 305HP and 555ft.lbs. and the '04.5's are 325HP and 600ft.lbs. The Smartys that are for the '03-'04 will not work on the '04.5+years.
