it's electronically shifted. mines a manual one.there used to be a round tag on the back of them. NP 242, or NP 208. with the gear ratio... right next to the oil check bolt.... what do you plan on using it for?

I was assured that it came from either a Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep vehicle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Process Gear was founded as a joint partnership between GM and Chrysler but they also manufacture for certain Ford vehicles as well. Is there any kind of number stamped in the body of the case? should be a 3 digit number in the 200's, like 201, 271, etc.

I believe it says that is a NP245J with a 2.72 low range. Do somebody knows from were it came from?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe those were in the Grand Cherokee. I helped a friend with a swap one time and that rings a bell. I would get on a good Jeep forum and do some researching you will probably find what your looking for. Or possibly call a Chrysler dealership with your numbers and they may be able to help you

That is a T-case from a Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 (5.9L) 2005 and up.
