I have an 03 3500 Can anybody tell me how to change my truck to keep from needing my door unlock button to start the truck, I have to put the key in turn it to the on position hit the door unlock button then crank it or it wont crank. If I put the key in and start or turn it to the start position it doesn't do anything:cookoo:

Sounds like the alarm function is activated or not deactivated when the key is in. Bad switch? I don't know anything about it.

Sounds like a Bad Starter Kill...

On several of the upper end trucks they have procedures to set and disarm features. You might have to contact a dealer on this I'm sorry I don't have the information for you. But if you do find a answer could you bring it back and share with us?
