I have a Fass 95 pulling off the factory basket and recently installed an Edge Juice w/ Attitude. My fuel pressure bounces all over the place. From 10 to 23 psi on the CTS monitor. Edge has replaced there senor 2 times and no change. I did the 5 gal bucket test today and psi is all over the place. Truck runs good from what I can tell. The gauge bounces at idle and wot. I had a snubber on it but it didn't help at all.  Is it possible that I still have a bad senor? I have not checked with a mechanical gauge yet. Anybody have any thoughts??

If the flow in the bucket test varies alot I would think it would be more of a pump issue or maybe a regulator issue. I have had to pull the regulator on my AD before because the ball got wedged into the spring and caused the pressure to drop.

My pump is less than 2 months old. I was thinking bad pump after the bucket test also.  I can't see getting 3 bad sensors for Edge. I will talk with the co I bought the pump from on Monday. Thanks for your input.

It could be something as simple as a sticking regulator. Not sure how the FASS systems operate but it may be worth a shot to pull the regulator apart just to make sure you don't have any debris or something else going on in there before condemning the pump.

I believe it is all one sealed unit. I think it either works or it doesn't.  Don't know much about them myself.  May try to look at it a little closer tomorrow. I know it is not adjustable like the 150.

Found the problem.  It was the spring or ball. Not sure which because I changed both. Think it was the ball though. It had a small groove in it. Thanks from the replies guys.

Interesting you brought this up, I had to pull mine apart again today. The spring was a little short to begin with so I had a few washers in there so I just changed it out with a brand new one I ordered as a spare a while back. It isn't very fun taking a bath in fuel while laying under the truck in the middle of a snowstorm

Yeah I always put a rag around the fitting while taking it loose. I just hope that plastic ball or whatever it is made of isn't the weak link to this system. How do you like those RV275's? Think that will be my next upgrade.

They're a great injector, very clean and a nice mild boost in power. If I ever get around to my turbo project I may end up going with something a littler bigger.

I second the 275's. You might even see a little bump in mileage, I did. They also made a nice difference while towing over stock.

I enjoyed the RV275's for a nice mild power gain very controlled smoke also. I upgraded to a +50HP injector from Vulcan performance and found that a good performance injector with clean spray pattern will produce even better MPG. But RV275's and +50's are still clean injectors also good power upgrades.
