My steering pulses while turning. It stops when the steering wheel stops turning and it doesn't matter what position the wheels or steering wheel are in. Also there is no whineing or noise from the pump.  Any ideas?

Check your power steering reservoir after doing several lock to lock turns and see if it is foamy?

Might also be something wrong with the power valve within the steering box.

Get a power steering gear box rebuild kit and go through the box. Not to hard to rebuild. Just all the BB's for the screw shaft are a real PITA to get back in the box. So be careful they tend to come rolling out all over the place.

Ok I'll try that.  Is there a place that is recomended to get the rebuild kit or do most parts stores carry them? Thanks
