December 3, 201410 yr Staff I think any trailer supply would have what you need. I did make my own rv umbilical cord that plugs into the truck out of heavy gauge construction cord and rv ends. I just ran it inside some soft rubber automotive heater hose for the outside sheathing and protection of the wires.. Edited December 3, 201410 yr by JAG1
December 5, 201410 yr iirc LMCTruck sells them... or Reese hitch company iirc does as well. if your looking for a kit that adds trailer brake functionality the dealer kit does this and isnt too bad to install yourself. i had to add it to mine to remove the PO's hack job wiring....
December 5, 201410 yr Author I'll have to check out LMC or Reese. The harness thats on the truck has been modified, and doesnt work worth a darn.
December 5, 201410 yr check your local farm supply... such as Tractor supply, I believe in your neck of the woods would be called 'Mills Fleet and Farm"
December 6, 201410 yr The closest Mills store is about 2 hours away. There may be one coming soon to our area though! Matt, any time you want you can come look at mine and see how it was done.
December 6, 201410 yr Author Tom I might take you up on that. My FASS showed up yesterday, after I get it installed the trailer harness is next on the list.
