I read so many thing about that i got a p0341 and i think my trouble is the cam gear that read a differente things dose anyone have alraidy done this and cam i juste change the cam gear and the cover or i have to change the hole cam? Or its more simple to take the 98.5 wiring and swap it in my 01 please help me im pist off that i bought a truck like this

I have seen about 30 people find success with swapping like I have stated. I know of no one that has changed the cam gear. There is something about the angle, or how it reads, I am not sure.

Yes a heard to so the best is like to swap all computer and wiring or the hood years motor

Its the reading on the gear i can not post picture butt i have one that show the diffenrence

Cam has to be swapped because of the tone wheel difference.

Gear case has to be swapped because of sensor location is correct.

Ok but just the cam gear or all the cam in the block aand with gear case i've to change the vp44 gear to?

That's what i know of... You could try the just swapping the cam but not sure of you'll be pulling it back out again.

So the best thing to do is swaping all the wiring and computer under the hood

Yeah... But I've heard of issues with the PCM communicating with the different ECM.  So you might have to flash the PCM to work now. Depends on what options the other truck had.

So if i understand i cant keep the pcm off my 01 truck butt i have to reflash it and on the ecm with the wiring have to be change tthans for the advise

If you get the ECM, PCM, harness & power center from a donor truck, you should be good.
