My truck has 335k on it now. I'm not sure how many miles are on the current ones since I installed them but not enough they should need changing again but I've hit some serious potholes so not sure if that has shortened their life

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I tried searching and nothing came up. I hear the front wheel bearing humming so time to replace them. I've replaced them once already with Detroit Axle units so I'm wondering what brand everyone has had luck with?? '01 2wd abs with drums in the rear. Has anyone used a GDP intake or similar(think crazy Larry has a version too)? Heard airflow to the back cylinders wasn't good stock so was thinking about trying to help with that.

Did you ever figure out a solution? I'm fixing to make a 15hr drive to North Dakota pulling a light empty trailer and am looking for a good tow tune.

No check engine light

A little while ago my truck started act funny. You would get on it and then when you would let of it would "fast lope" idle real rough and eventually clear up. Well yesterday I got on it, it started running rough then died and wouldn't start back. I sat in the middle of the road for about 10min trying to start it before I got mad and used the starter with the truck in gear to pull it out of the way. About 20' of that and it fired right up. Any suggestions on what it might be? Only happens after getting on it.

Man I guess it was just some kind of glitch because it just magically worked the next time I stopped and tried it 🤦‍♂️

Drove the truck it's fine, get in it the next day and the settings won't sync to my phone nor will it load a tune that I've used before. Only had it like 3 weeks and already giving me problems 🤬

Well after today I'm off for 4 days so I plan on messing around with it & trying to learn what's going on with it. I just know it's a world of difference. Went from 38psi to 50+psi, egt's will hit 1300°, it'll wrap the speedo pretty quick to 110mph.

Mine will go up to lvl10 so I'm not sure how hot of a tune that is, there's nothing in the manual describing each factory tune that I saw. I know it's a huge difference from the smarty but it runs pretty clean. I wish I could get the speedo video uploaded but it keeps erroring out.

I plan on buying your mileage tune & probably a "race tune" from someone.

Excellent! I don't mind paying for tunes/ppls time but I still wish some of ya were close to talk about this stuff since I'm new to all this downloading, importing, etc. I took my mustang, had it dyno tuned & rolled on lol I could run 8psi to 16psi and not mess with anything.

I'm sure those little 245's don't stand a chance because mine was trying to spin in 4th gear lol So where's the best place to read up on/learn how to tune/maybe get custom tunes that have already been made?? Didn't seem like there was anything real helpful in the instructions but I was only able to skim over them. I'll probably bring the instructions in tomorrow and see if there's any helpful info in there.

So the lvl10 is still somewhat tame? I can't image it pulling harder than it does 😳 I tried to upload a video but no luck

I haven't had any time to really mess with it but mine goes up to lvl10, guessing a pre-programmed tune??

Just picked my truck up yesterday after having Quadzilla, head studs, and valve springs installed......man what a difference the Quadzilla made lol Now I'm gonna have to learn how to fine tune it. Truck runs pretty clean even on lvl10 surprisingly.

I try not to roll coal but at times with tailgaters or left lane turtles on the interstate I find it handy lol Also, is there a Parts area because I'm in need of an "Accelerator Cable" I call it Throttle Cable 🤷‍♂️ Mine is frayed and dUe tO CoViD they're on backorder 🙄

I'm guessing it's an hx35 version because I had to send mine in as a core. 550hp would be fine with me especially if it still spooled quick

I noticed you run stock tire size or I think that's stock size but I just can't do it lol They look like car tires on these trucks so I'm fine giving up a couple mpg to be pleasing to the eye 🤣 I've got 285/70r17 on mine.

I'm not 100% sure, didn't come with a card or anything in the box. One of my friends has his own shop and I just told him to get what he thought would be good for my truck. He pulls in Work Stock class(I think that's the class name) & wins quite often plus has been doing that type of stuff for years so I usually trust his judgment.

I have no idea what psi it will make with the Quadzilla, it's around 39psi with the Smarty and it doesn't even fuel that hard from what I've read. Well I may push the redline a little but it's mainly because they get weak over time and despite the great shape of the truck it has 300k miles. As far as I know it's the original 300k engine plus throwing more boost at I think it's a good idea for fresh, stronger springs. I don't really want to push spool up out further in the rpm range so I'm open to suggestions. It's already around 1800 with current combo. As long as my truck stays at 20mpg or higher I'll be pleased lol

Yeah Yeah of course, selling the Smarty to my buddy & possibly the turbo as well, may get a BW S364.5. Sorry, I'm a noob and it took me till now to figure out how to do the signature thing lol 🤦‍♂️

Summer, nice day driver, spirited driving from time to time lol Pull cars to the racetrack. Getting a quadzilla and already have 150hp inj with a 63mm tater built turbo making 38psi with a Smarty. Figured it's a good time to put studs in because the quadzilla should fuel a lot more thus increasing psi
