High amp alternator
That would be just fine primarily all the leg work will be on my end of course but what I need is input from more knowledgeable people so yeah my own lil space would be great. I intend to share everything I find such as the articles and tech I'm reviewing as well as suppliers thank you for helping me I think this is gonna be some kind of learning experience and as for the investment aspect, besides goin in for an osciliscope which I've been wanting anyway the actual parts are gonna cost about 80 bucks for the DC aspect and prolly another 20 for a case and hardware I already have a bunch of copper bar stock for bussing etc so it's no biggie just let me know where to go n how

High amp alternator
I'll b ordering parts next week for prototype 1 .I think I'm gonna ginneau pig my gas suburban first just in case I f up Yes that was essentially what I was suggesting but switchable pre and post or are you suggesting pre and post Moparman? Twin 7 segmant led trees? It's doable but the buss feed would be 16 28awg wires on a mini molex setup not bulky just complex . Guys this my email address anybody that would like to see how development and r n d are moving shoot an email to waywardson57@gmail.com once ive got my act together I'll email my pet project workup to you for further discussion as I feel input from more knowledgeable dodgers will be extremely helpful

High amp alternator
Actually a vac dvm circuit was exactly what I have in mind with perhaps a step meteryou know green .03 yellow around .09 red at .11 with an adjustment pre the 3 steps that will raise or lower the scale to tailor to your personal truck . Say the toasters w headlights light the whole tree you hit the trimmer and add a touch of resistance thereby backing you out of the red into yellow number 1 or 2 with a 6 led scale and selectable pre and post ripple cripple , lol the name I'm using for it now so that you can sample not only what your computers and well everything else is seeing but also a pre point to see real world alternator and right now if my math is correct and the parts spec as listed I might be delivering .000 range it's all about size lol

High amp alternator
MeOk boys n girls heres where I'm at so far I've found all the parts online to do it for the ripple side, warning monitor will come after but here's the question how many amps realistically do u want to be able to push because I can build one for 300 amps at 12vdc with current parts available I'm waiting on specs from one company for a choke but this puppy will deliver filtered spike protected DC powerso how many amps Side note how much ripple to trigger the idiot light . .09 etc Side note how much ripple to trigger the idiot light . .09 etc

High amp alternator
I need some info guys what is the max AC ripple accepted by manufacturers I realize the ideal would be 0 but the science ain't flying from what I've read so far today the voltage loss at that point would be too much to even bother unless of course you don't mind running a 24v system I need a number to design to like .06vac or ,03vac I can build this little Gizmo but I've gotta have a real world figure to shoot for and it's quite possible if I can find what I'm looking for to make the unit a universal deal in line between the alternator and the power distribution block so that everything , all systems benefit and installation is as easy as 1 2 3.24 lol help any one???

High amp alternator
What I'm thinking is a separate prolly 50amp stiff and monitored source with several fused outs to hit all computer based feeds the real trick is integration into the harness cleanely I'm already working on it and it will be plug n play but you'll have to install a few wetpacks

High amp alternator
I was just on nation's website and while they talk alot about build they had no specs from bench runs and the price is spooky high n ty Moparman I figured that might help a system especially the ecm and pcm . Has any body actually tackeled isolating the ecm and pcm on their own special power supply because that's what I'm thinking about doing . Build a bulletproof computer ps for the VP ec and pcm. I realize alot of r&d would be required but I ain't scared of that hmmmmmmmmmmmm project time.

High amp alternator
So what about using large caps like the stereo guys do to stiffen the ps just curious after reading bill nigh the science guys stuff which btw Mr W T I enjoyed it I play with music electronics so I understand more than some folks but I still feel like you took my bicycle on that one . I've been looking really hard at a complete electrical system overhaul on my 01 it's got 340k on it and I just lunched my ecm and pcm see the 911 for that and so I'm thinking pull and strip the harness completely test it re wrap with better coverings and go from there any thoughts guys. Btw I build my own harnesses I use good wetpaks and other high end components because I am picky about things

2019 GM vehicles without pedal or steering wheel
I saw an article a while back about the first autonomus taxi cab on the road in San Francisco and it was involved in a collision not twenty minutes after launch. Never found out who's fault but nothing will ever replace flesh n blood reasoning I'm a class a CDL holder and I know no machine will ever be able to make that call when your left with either kill yourself or kill 50 Innocents in a bus. As a professional there is an assumed risk that goes with it . Duty responsibility to your fellow drivers to make that call something most of the new breed of steering wheel holders don't get . It's our duty to do the least damage even if it means my life I'll not kill others to save myself and machines will never get that
