  1. From what I have found I think you can run as big as you want and not have real issues. I would buy injectors based on your power desires. If I am able to clean 7 x .012's at 7000' altitude you should not have any issues cleaning 6 x .013's or similar in great falls. I dont know what you mean by "drain the vp to easily" a lift pump, assuming positive inlet pressure, won't prevent the vp from running out of the ablity to push fuel at the limits. even at 8 psi the VP won't run dry.
  2. should be fixed. AT the request of some members I have removed the offidle smoothing. It appears that not all trucks like it.
  3. I found the bug.... ugh. I will fix it. lvl 0 will = your valet mode power on the beta release.dunno why yet.
  4. was it level 0 in warmup mode or was warmup mode disabled?
  5. glad the truck is running well. I am really happy with my current tune as well.
  6. aint broke dont fix it right?
  7. Yes switch to 2.5, that will make your tunes exportable and importable from the tune builder excel macro @Carbur8tr built
  8. 2.6.1 does not have boost offset. Beta 2.7 does. The vehicle profile for the app is not ready yet so the boost offset is not public. I dont know if it will be public or not. It might be more effort than it is worth for training.
  9. see the hole above the feed tube hold in the body of the injector. the fuel comes out of that into the area of the head that the injector tube onring seals the system. If you use ricer math, 7 x .012's = ~200 hp over stock. 235 + 200 hp = 435 hp Add in canbus duration increase of %12 435 * 1.12(%12 over stock) = ~490 hp The he351ve flows 69 lb / min of air at the peak of it's map. Thats right in the 450-500 hp area. There is no magic in the v2, BUT it is my theory that since others tuners work above stock fueling only, they overfuel down low causing a overshoot on the turbo, sling shotting it out of it's map. causing heat etc. By controlling fueling down low better you are able to keep a turbo in it's map and not vastly overfuel the turbo under the curve.
  10. The pump delivers much more fuel per stroke than a 400hp truck can use. It starts to run out of steam around 600hp in terms of actual fuel pumped. Remember that the injectors pass unused fuel back to the tank via the port on the back of the head. My truck with 7 x .012's and a he351ve drives REALLY nice. the vp shows no signs of not being able to keep up.
  11. the pump gets a 0-4096 command for fueling, then decodes that into a pulse for the fueling solenoid. that overhead you are talking about is what wiretap does. the limit is ~%20-%25 more duration from the solenoid. But really we are talking about reinventing the wheel here, why not just get bigger injectors? Bigger injectors effectively increases the amount of fuel injected in the fueling pulse.
  12. of the shudder at 800 rpm with %0 tps input? doe sit happen warmup or no warmup?
  13. Its based on the fueling command vs rpm so it should be pretty close. you need to configure the fueling offset to match your injector size. fueling offset for a stock injector truck is %100 ish, 7 x .009's where ~132% and 7 x .012's are at 155% and close. At that rpm and %0 tps the quads canbus fueling is disabled. it should not be doing anything.
  14. 800-1000 is "normal" in terms of how fueling is handing off. It is much smoother ony my truck but that may be a result of the huge injectors. Are you still having issues int he 1000-1200 area? If you guys dont think it is better then we can scrap that fueling handoff. Can more people who have run the 2.7 file let me know how the hand off is? @Dodgeih I had similar issues before I disabled my antivirus before downloading and flashing. The flash was not being applied correctly.
  15. plug her in, wait 2 seconds hit hte update, hit find module, hit update module. You might have to turn of the virus protection. had this happen, dont worry about it.
  16. meh not a lot has actually changed.
  17. I have no min setup in the base code, thats up to spencer and quadzilla in terms of what they want to actually use.
  18. yea beta one is still current and from what I can tell stable. the base flash 2.7 will work on the app and json 2.5 just fine. The boost offset is defaulted to 12 psi for the 2.5 json file so you should be in the same range as before. I tried my best to roll out the changes in a way that would work with any json configuration.
  19. 2.5 is the user profile. The 2.7 and 3 are test profiles for ensuring a bug free release, bug free laughable.
  20. tunes follow the profile on the app. if you use the same profile your tunes will be fine.
  21. early trucks dont need the offset, only late trucks because cummins / dodge couldn't stick to a standard. 2.7 is hosted in the downloads.
  22. your offset is 12 psi normal is 14. yours is the lowest I have seen to date
  23. Setting hte min value to 12 should resolve the issue to the point of where we are with prior version.
  24. Spencer, If you set the default value in the app to 12 then no matter what they are "close" which is what we have now,. If you choose to not update the json then it will just use 12 as the default I get the issue at hand though. Youre call
  25. Windows apparently is now classifying the flash files as a virus. Nice huh
