I purchase a Freightliner MT45 stepvan 24 valves cummins VP44 its a 12volt 5.9L allison 542/parking (ebay Item number: 190390601081)This truck only run up to 20MPH on ebay I get it for 1500I need the ECM, dashboard harness and transmission for my RV that have same trany but I whant the parking to dont get familiar with the Focker movie.If some body need some parts are welcome to take it, came and enjoy the summer, I ask just if you can non obligatory what you whant only to recover some of my 1500$, I saw other ebay this truck sale about $6k Or/ if someone woul have a vp44 make it work and relist it for $6kWe will have money to donate % moparMAN, I could lost my trany but will have some happy summer days
  2. I try this on my pump but the work man was not so good in soldering and work for 20 secondsAfter some google found that this need to solder by a special weld for aluminium
  3. I use a VW regulator fit prety well on this alternatorthe regulator just need a switched power B+ but not direct in series with a dash bulb. One wire only.When no charge due to alternator fail the light keep on all the times..

FINALLY VISIT THAT SHOP, get a VP44 core and ask them.REPLY the shop they CAN NOT convert VP to NON-ELECTRONICWhat they can is to convert Electronic P-pump to a Non-Electronic.Thats the first time I hear Electronic P-pump....??In the conversation came to the discusion about VP44 advance timing is due to a electric/ valve on the bottom of the pump and the VE the advance is commanded by a boost turbo pressure hose so the issue to pump diesel to each injector in a distributor manner coul with a little effor by done but the time advance is more dificult. The other issue is the electronic sensor and harness would became useless.SO NO WAY TO CONVERT VP44 to a non electronic.
  6. I hear a shop here in Guatemala that afirm they can make the VP44 to work non electronic, and operate in same way the VE pump.I post this to see if somebody have some experience in this field.I will visit this shop next week and guive them a core to see what they do......
  7. Here in central america hard to find parts we will repair the solinoide. with new coils. Just the wire cost...any way congratulation nice work
