  1. Parts: RKE module: mopar part # 056021422 Pig tail cut from factory harness that plugs into the module. (Not necessarily but will make life a lot easier) RKE transmitter (Key Fob) part # 56007049 Optioal items to make my life easier and to make the install more plug and play I cut a pig tail off the cab side and off the door side from a power door lock harness. This aloud me to make a harness on my bench I could plug right into my factory harness. The wires coming out of the module all match up with the respected color of the wire in the factory power door lock harness. Additional information: Yellow wire out of module gets sliced into yellow wire on the sensor to turn the lights on when the door is opened Ground wire coming out of module hook up to somewhere on the metal structure of the dash Green wire coming out of the module leave unhooked. This wire gets grounded using a jumper wire for programming Dark blue wire hook up to a hot will the key is on source Light Blue wire I left unhooked it's supposed to go to the buzzer module
  2. Does anyone know if those storage bins fit in early second gens ?
  3. If anyone wants I can draw up a diagram and make I list of needed parts. I have about $30 in it all together
  4. Update : I just got done installing everything and it works as it should
  5. I made it out to the junk yard today and got the module and cut some pig tails. I started to make up wiring harness i have to finish it up tomorrow and hopefully I have time this weekend to install it
  6. also i found this, this must have been for dealer installed keyless entry http://starparts.chrysler.com/info/default/k6859319.pdf
  7. I found a wiring diagram that could help someone who is trying to do this in the future It does not look too bad i think i might try to splice it into my factory harness
  8. I am planning on going to one later today I will see what I can find
  9. If you can't find one you should be able to get the pig tails and make your own harness it's should only be 3 or 4 wires and 3 plugs.
  10. I guess I will have to pull both harnesses to inspect the difference between the two
  11. How much different is the gas dash harness vs a diesel dash harness I think I will pull the whole dash, I've had them out before it only takes about half an hour. Then I'll bring it to my shop to swap harnesses
  12. The plan was I pull all the dash wiring on the other truck, where about is the central timer located
  13. Hello, i have a 1997 ram 3500 Laramie plus package. So I have the tan leather interior with wood grain which I'm told is very rare for a 12v truck. I found a truck at a local junk yard that is a 1997 that has factory keyless entry and I was wondering if anyone ever added factory keyless entry to their truck or if someone has a wiring diagram of how the keyless entry is wired. I basically want factory keyless or no keyless entry. I'm not really into the aftermarket ones, it might be the easier route but that not what I want.
