5w40 full synthetic vs 15w40 dino
OK, I went by Wally World last night to see what they had and they only had 5w30 full synthetic & 10w30 full synthetic, in 1 qt. size and in 5 qt. size. I can't use that in a diesel, can I?

5w40 full synthetic vs 15w40 dino
I'm get ready to do my oil & filter change and was thinking if it would be better to used 5w40 synthetic vs 15w40 dino. Now I'm real cheap, so I'm thinking here Wally World Super Tech 5w40 full synthetic, not Amsoil, Red Line or any other uppity brands. One of my questions is it's not 15w40, it's 5w40, would that be OK?

Air Filter Issues
May not be a bad idea if I washed my air filter, a solution of simple green and water you say.

Air Filter Issues
I've vacuumed my Amsoil filter 2-3 times, never washed it. Yes, I do have a Outerwear cover on it. The rubber boot that connects to the turbo is tight also. (When I do a oil change I'll disconnect that boot and pull the whole filter out of the way to change the oil filter, makes it easer to get at). At this time I'll put a clean paper towel on the turbo blades and it's always dirty. Mostly, I'll use a clean rag and take my time and wipe the blades off. When I had my 01 2nd gen Ram, I used carb. cleaner on the turbo blades to clean, haven't used it on this one, any suggestions on what to clean the turbo with?

Air Filter Issues
I'm not a very happy camper with my air filter. I have a AEM Brute Force and after using it for only a year noticed some grim and dirt on my turbo fins, so I went out and got a Amsoil EAAU4090 air filter to replace the AEM air filter. A little over a year now and the turbo fins are dirty again. So yes, I'm not a happy camper after spending all that money. Now I'm thinking of going back to the stock air box and adding a cold air intake in the bottom of it, (4in. tube going down to the bumper). Any suggestions?

This was the 01 Cummins I traded-in, pulled like a mule, I miss it. Before this there was only gas.

2 Stroke and the Common Rail
First, Let me say Thank You.Looks like I have been over kill. I'll be cutting down to 1/2 qt. per fill-up, 20-25 gal.Tell me if this is correct, I was mixing 6 oz. of Howes Meaner Kleaner with the 2 stroke oil and have stopped mixing them together. Now once or twice a year I'll give it a good dose with no 2 stroke oil added.
