  1. Id just clean the carbon stuff off, check the orings and put them back in.
  2. Try taking out your lock up switch first. The other thing it might be is that you put a different gov solenoid with wiring harness in. Being an 01 it should have the silver one. The earlier 24v's had the round gold one.
  3. Bought one from RockAuto a few years back, $137 shipped to the house.
  4. What sensors did you put in. Did you have a gold round one with a oval plug or a black flat plug with black transducer? That's what I was leaning toward. I have an 01 that has the flat black plug and it was replaced at one point with the gold round/oval plug. There is a pressure and temp difference that it reads....from what I was told. Yours being a 98 should of had the gold oval one.
  5. might double check that you have the right wiring harness on the valvebody for your year truck. I have an 01 with the flat transducer and it got replaced with an older round golden one once. It had your symptoms. It had to come up to operating temps before it would shift correctly.
  6. Thank you. They will get me most of what I was looking for.
  7. Hello all, Im looking for some old vp pictures. My old computer crashed and lost the ones I had from TDR years ago. I looked on this site but the docs and links don't seem to work. It could be the company computer but I doubt it...at this time. Does anyone have the old cutaway pictures of the internals for a VP. Or know how to get the ones back on here. Heres the page ive been looking at with no working links.https://mopar1973man.com/topic/1348-vp44-cutaway-and-pictures/ Thanks Jeremie
