  1. i was ready to commit Harry Karry 99 Gen 2 2500 6 speed dead peddle missing & cutting out. Low fuel pressure would drop from 11 pounds to 0 after running for a 1/2 hour. I replaced in tank lift pump. Now I have 18 lbs at idle still cutting out. Replaced injection pump. Primed up started right away. Idled great warmed up miss sputter fart dead peddle. Looked over everything. I replaced the apps / tps a week before this when it coded. Adjusted as discribed checked setting. Instructions stated set TPS to 10 -12 percent on an ODB scanner or .50v - .60v with multi meter. I set it at 11 it was stable after insulation drove 500 miles 13 miles from my house i didn't think it was going to make it home. It was running so bad. I was ready to throw in the towel when I did some reading on installing a new APPS I had a meter this time. I read factory setting is 1.2 volts adjust up to 1.5 volts which turns out to be TPS 14% on my Code scanner. I nailed it back together yeah haw problem solved. Don't give up hope. You will find the answer if you get too pissed off and keep a level head. Good Luck Try to keep in mind crazy and radical are fun. When it comes to performance it comes with a price. The first to that top of that hill or mountain is going to mean your going to be the first one in the shop at the end of the run.

  3. Call Ray at Custom Clutch and Joint in Cleveland. (216) 431-1630 He has been making custom clutches for me for the last 40 years. Fabric, Composit, Ceramic, Double and Single Disc. They are very reasonable. Somthing everyone should know about ceramic clutches are very aggressive positive no slip clutches. Great for plowing and heavy towing. In reverse or backing up you will find the truck will tend to buck or jump. Be easy don't accelerate backing up. If you have a ways to back up put it in reverse totally release the clutch add only as much power as you need to get the job done. and Do not ride or slip these clutches. I drove a semi for 20 years. I have always had good service life out of my clutches. The key is be easy on them and don't slip them. The clutch in my 1999 Dodge / Cummins 2500 is a fabric clutch it's the only thing I could get at the time. I have 130,000 miles on it with very little ware.
