Well i have finished the air dog install tuesday. it went great i only had to call the shop once about the module i had,i just got done building a steel box to protect pump and filters. took truck for drive came back to shop and had diesel dripping from tank found out that i didnt get return line all the way pushed on to fitting so far i am happy with the air dog but its only been a couple days i will keep you guys posted.

Dave: all the information and help you have given me has been awesome, i didnt get the chance to work on truck today so will get it knocked out Monday will keep all you posted on how the install goes again i thank everyone for the help

yes i plan doing the install by the book and use the draw straw i have been doing research and it looks like there are two different types of modules one looks like a one piece and one looks like two separate pieces held together rods and springs with type do i have my truck is 01

Why did you have to drop your tank twice, just so i don't make the same mistake if you dont mind me asking

lol no it shouldn't take all day just want make sure i have a good plan mount the pump on frame and have a beer or two during the process i have next week off so just going to take my time.

I plan on starting the install tomorrow so if I have more questions I call the shop on monday I figure its going to take most of the day to just get tank dropped and new hoses ran then I can figure out this wiring issue I am having.

i would like to thank everyone for the quick responses and help. i was wondering if anyone had a picture of the male connector on the lift pump i am more a visual guy,and if anyone knows what color the hot wire on the new air dog harness that plugs into lift pump connection the colors i have on new air dog harness is tan and black. i am sorry if i don't totally understand all the answers that you have been given me.

i assume the tan wire on the new air dog harness would be the hot wire and the black would be the ground this question is really the only thing stoping me from finishing this install, all the help will be is greatly appreciated.

i have been using the carter campaign pump, for awhile now just bought the air dog2. when i installed the campaign pump i cut off the quick connect now with the new air dog it has the quick connect I NEED TO KNOW WHAT COLORS THE HOT AND GROUND ARE SO I CAN SPLICE IN NEW MALE CONNECTOR, to air dog. the two wires appear to be one white and a black with white tracer. --- Update to the previous post... The new air dog harness for the fuel pump connection has the color wires of tan and black. The company i bought the air dog from (SourceAutomotive) gave me the male connection i needed but the colors on the pig tales are black red.

i assume my vp44 is dead i need help with a new one and dont have alot of money is it hard to install aswell

when i turn key on i have 15lbs of fuel i have the cater campiagn pump my truck is 01 have 4inch exhuast edge comp bd toque lock and pac brake fuel,pyro,boost,and trans temp guages i thought i put all this on my sig

i have a couple post on here and origanly my map sensor said it was bad but truck would still start i have not had time to fix map sensor but now truck wont even start is this cause of bad map sensor or do i have other issues my obd2 came up with 1688

what does a scan guage exactly does a scan guage do does it help with power can it work with my edge comp i have 225,000miles and now want some heads up on when something will go wrong with truck before check engine light comes on this question is brought on by the code of 0237 that you guys are helping me with

yes i do have an edge comp but i unlpuged it from the harness i did have other codes come up like 1688,0251 0237 but i cleared codes and the only one that keeps coming back is 0237 i cant get motor to rev above 1200rpms i have heard that you can unplug the map sensor to get more smoke i can do that and see if i can get more than 1200rpm. on the other hand moparman i have been falling your post on other sites and you have been exelant resource for information you have helped me out on more than one occasion

i beleive i nee da new map sensor after reading on here just cleaning the sensor wont help where do i find a new map senesor for a good price if you guys can think of anything else i can do please help
