6.7L partial bypass filter
Yes the reason I called it a partial is because not 100% of oil HAS to run through it to go back into engine. I believe I heard of Full bypass where 100% of oil HAS to run through filter before going back into engine. The reason for the cold weather description is they say right in it that cold weather cold slow or stop oil in tracks since filter is such a small Micro filter , that's why they leave the OEM intact.

6.7L partial bypass filter
Alright guys need more help again with a different product. http://www.nucmotorsports.com/dodgeparts.html After ready description it sounds as having a partial bypass filter is better then a full bypass filter. Reason being is because cold oil will not go through bypass oil filter when cold but still will go through OEM filter. Please tell me good, bads... Heck between this and the fuel filter in line filter it sounds like both will save me money in the long run... Right??

Fuel Pressure question for 6.7L
I would love that tuner/gauge. One problem. I still need my left arm for paying for diesel. I am thinking of just getting a stock gauge with a add fuel filter. http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/product.aspx?pf_id=MK27509-BLK . I love what Mike did more did his truck. But I do not feel comfy tearing my rig apart... Just in case I don't have the right tools, or run out of time, money ETC.

Fuel Pressure question for 6.7L
This raises more questions. First you said fuel PSI then rail PSI. the differance is I can find gauges for Rail PSI but not for standar fuel PSI. I checked the H&S site and a no go for that? Help , or link ? Fuel pressure over 2 PSI is considered good at idle... Of coarse going down road should be more right?

Fuel Pressure question for 6.7L
So does that mean your recommending getting the electric one at the rail? Cause personally I think that would be best cause then you can tell if you have issues right before injector. I guess if I want to have a over kill I could have two fuel gauges one that is at the rail and one that is at the OEM filter. I do like what you did with your fuel gauge setup. I'm just a little nervous about getting it back to gether. If you didn't live about 1500 miles from me I would be on a road trip with a case of ..... Pop.

ISX, I would recommend to make a portion on the site for a suggestion box? Or a New topic that is sticky with " What do you want to learn today?"

Fuel Pressure question for 6.7L
I have been thinking about getting a gauge for fuel pressure, unsure where to mount at this point. But if I get this I should be able to see if fuel has gelled since the pressure will be low. How do I know how much fuel pressure do I need? ETC http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUTOMETER-Z-SERIES-FUEL-RAIL-PRESSURE-GAUGE-DODGE-GM-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem43a08f8236QQitemZ290456568374QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Additives in the 6.7 engine
Thank you both for your replies. I currently use a Fleetguard FS43258 fuel filter(5 Micro at 98.7 efficient). And I will be useing a Baldwin BT7349 Oil Filters for filters. I wont mind getting a filter bypass to get it down to 2 Micro with both oil and fuel filters but I don't have money right now. I guess it takes money to buy the truck in the first place.
