This problem is starting to happen more after a warm or hot restart within the first mile, tach drops down to nothing, CE light comes on, engine rattles real hard for a mile or two. If I was to stop at a light, the engine has a rough idle, today I put it in neutral I kept juicin' it a little just so it wouldn't stall. After a mile down the road it all returned to normal. My FP was in my normal14-16 range while driving the entire time.:shrug:Anyone experience this?Dave

It finally stumbled a little this morning. I watched the tach drop a little,I mean just a little then the motor, like turning on the AC and the light came on. What a joke, as many cam sensors as I threw at this truck back when I had all that trouble and now I get to use one of the three new one's I have.

I have replced my cam sensor everytime (almost) everytime I replaced my vp and now I keep getting CEL. I erase the code and about two days later it comes back on. No miss no nothing running good. I have about three of them at the shop, I can put it in no problem it just pisses me off because its about three months old. What will the cam sensor do if I just keep running it? I guess I should put one the the tool box though

I give up I don't know what else to do. I finished my 3 month project about 2 weeks ago... twins, injectors,cross overs, o ringed head, totally swapped the complete wiring harness ecm, pcm, all sensors and VP pump and NV5600 along with the cluster from a wrecked 02 to my 98.5, the problem is when I start it the tach works for 7 seconds then goes dead and I get the code for cam sensor problem, I've tried both sensors and both vp pumps, checked all connections, ran the cluster through the diagnostic test and still no joy. I even tried the cluster from the 98.5, everything on both trucks worked perfectly before I started this project. I think when the tach isn't working it is also detuned as I can only pull 40 psi with the twins and 240 injectors and the juice on 6. If I shut the juice off I cant hit 20 psi and it is a pig. Oh and the tach on the edge attitude works fine. What am I missing? Help:banghead:please....
